I was lucky enough to be selected to create the poster art for this event and thrilled to be able to attend. Although I have no formal training as a scientist and much of what I heard and saw during the symposium was over my head, I was fascinated by most of the presentations I attended and easily swept along by the enthusiasm pervading the event–and absolutely astonished at the scope of work ACTUALLY BEING DONE RIGHT NOW to further Humankind’s interstellar ambitions.

The quality of speakers was outstanding. This is the only meeting that I am aware of that provides such a broad overview of interstellar mission issues. Support for presenters was very good.
